To be honest, it's been like 15 years since I had grissini, so my memory is probably not very good but I remember them as dry tasteless breadsticks

Maybe there are different types...
But yeah, the pan galleta I think are supposed to be some bread substitute, not tasty crackers, I guess a bit like the Russian ones which are also very uninteresting.
I think the German EPa Hartkeks are better
