Spanish crackers "Pan Galetta"
Spanish crackers "Pan Galetta"
Did I tell you guys about that nice auction I won?
I took one to work today
2015
Looked like German EPa "Hartkeks"
Too bad they tasted like "cardboard"
Neither sweet nor salty

Re: Spanish crackers "Pan Galetta"
I recently had some as well, and the best description I can give them is "breadsticks", like those "Grissini" you get at Italian restaurants sometimes and completely without seasoning.
If you want good spanish biscuits, get a breakfast ration. They (at least the one I had) have biscuits and they are sweet and tasty! Like Marie-kex! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marie_biscuit

No they're more like dried wheat bread. The breakfast crackers are sweet.cavguy wrote:Housil, I thought these were supposed to be sweet crackers? Its a shame they tasted like cardboard!

Hey, those are just as good as the German EPA biscuits.
Re: Spanish crackers "Pan Galetta"
The date listed on them is that an expiration date (EXP: Dec 2015)? Totally possible these are stale due to not having a durable packaging.

I really like the Grissinis. You also them over here in the grocery.Synthpeter wrote:I recently had some as well, and the best description I can give them is "breadsticks", like those "Grissini"

To be honest, it's been like 15 years since I had grissini, so my memory is probably not very good but I remember them as dry tasteless breadstickshousil wrote:I really like the Grissinis. But yeah, the pan galleta I think are supposed to be some bread substitute, not tasty crackers, I guess a bit like the Russian ones which are also very uninteresting.
I think the German EPa Hartkeks are better

Never had Grissini, are they sweet or salty?

You get them over here in "any" flavor, but not sweet:alohakid wrote:Never had Grissini, are they sweet or salty?
