i think he talks about the oatmeal blocks,they where bars type back in the 1950 to 1970s
before they changed to round disc.

Thanks norge! Whatever they were I sure hope they tasted better than the "crackers" and hard candy that were issued in civil defense shelters here in America during the 50s and 60s, :oops: My uncle was on the civil defense back then and he tasted just about every shelter ration they had-----he'd have rather gone outside and got it over with! :shock:

Are they like the UK digestive biscuits? If so thanks for offer but a buddy of mine just got back from the UK and he managed to bring back some of them, pretty good stuff.
