Creamed Chicken w/ Zucchini and Corn

Post by housil » Sun Aug 02, 2009 3:11 pm

Usually we are the Lords of can openers, but today I decided for a real dish from raw ingredients out of my favourit American cooking book:

Frying the chopped bacon

Frying the chicken

Frying the chopped vegetables

Deglaze them with some local wine to get gravy

Add the chicken, the vegetables, the cream and let it cook. Serve with rice

Looks very nice, I like chicken :D

(By the way.. you can put it into weckpots (or how it's called in English) and add it to you museum.. Should last lifetime if you cook it well and put it in the pot when it's still above 80*C)
Sure, someone may one day kill me with my own gun.
But they'll have to beat me to death with it because it's empty.

A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing.

Preserve can.
In German ein"wecken" named after the chairman Johann Carl Weck, but the right word is einkochen "to preserve"
