SPAM is in that POTTED MEAT, CANNED WEINERS food area. I usually buy SPAM and cook it with some eggs, makes for a good day. Even made sandwiches with it. I havent tried the packs yet but if you dont heat them up you get all that jelly like fat on them when you eat it.
I've gotten GOUT twice for eating too much potted meat. Its a favorite!, I'm sure too much SPAM will do the same.
POTTED MEAT! A FAVORITE! Eat too much and you get THE GOUT!

Heres the morning lineup:
Bacon Spam, Bacon Salt, and Baconnaise

The meat from the can cold, tasted more of ham then bacon, however once fried, the aroma, and taste of bacon came out. Not too bad at all.

Mr. Eman,

Hey that looks like some to-die-for food, was it a meal fit for king?

How did that baconaisse turn out? What was the tastes like? It looks kind of ridiculous but I'd be willing to taste some. :D

Only if king is in reference to the family pet  Actually it wasn't too bad for what it is. In hindsight it would be better on a lighter roll or toast. The ciabatta was a bit much and distracted from the pork goodess

The baconnaise is hard to pin down exactly. I mean, you can tell its mayo based, but the bacon taste isn't too "bacony", unlike the bacon salt. It has a kind of funky thing going on when you first try it, but after a couple tastes, the bacon becomes somewhat noticable. Now, this is just an observation trying it right outta the jar. I found when used as a spread, it does complement the other flavors. I need to use it more to get more of an opinion, but initially I liked it less than the bacon salt counterpart.

If you want a jar I got one for ya when you stop by.
