Danish ration

Post by andreassen »

Hello you guys.

Have been lurking around this forum for a while now, and just decided to sign up.
I was wondering, if you have any interest in a Danish ration?

If any interest, I'll upload some pictures :-)

I'll try to upload pictures and a description later this week.
I see that German_EPA has a danish ration for sale on his site. It's not the whole ration, but only the main course.

Patience folks, pictures to come :-)

In the early '90s a British magazine ran an article reviewing various combat rations, including the Danish packs. I think I have a copy of somewhere - if I can find it, I'll scan it and post it here.

From memory the Danish ration pack included pate, caviar, veal fricasee, salami, black bread and camembert cheese... and a toothbrush.
