Weird White Label Early MRE Entrees
Does anybody have any clue on what these could be? I was thinking that they could be test entrees they tried out to see if they'd be added into the circulation, but I have no clue overall honestly.
The dates on them are both from 4216 (August 3, 1984), so that also was interesting to me that they are both made the same day as well. Any help would be awesomely appreciated, thanks!!

Maybe they screwed up the labels and it was cheaper to put a sticker on it then make it again? They do that with modern British ORPs sometimes.

Re: Weird White Label Early MRE Entrees
They were in an EBay lot with a bunch of early 81-87 MRE Entrees, these were the only unusual ones out of that bunch of all of them, was such a lucky find haha, I nearly ignored it when they popped up.
Re: Weird White Label Early MRE Entrees
have seen relabeling before but not in white on green, you don't have picture from the other ones in the ebay add?
other possibility that it come from someone that worked at Natick or similar.i know there was menus that never was fielded, just made and tested in the lab for some sort.
third I checked the Natick site and it looks like in 1986 there was some with white labels but I says experimental on most of them
cheers ken

Re: Weird White Label Early MRE Entrees
Yeah, I was trying to contemplate when I bought it wether or not to open them and show the entrees online, but I think i'll just keep them sealed on my display. One of a kind possibly!
