Re: Tray rations
So, in theory - if you vacuum seal one of these commercial "mres" in an aluminumized pouch with an O2 absorber, would that increase the shelf life?
Re: Tray rations
The film on top is already identical to the one on the regular T-rations, so its already aluminized, meaning that its airtight.
Re: Tray rations
& no artificial flavors or preservatives!
Re: Tray rations
the film on top seems to just mylar type material - not aluminized.Eistee wrote:The film on top is already identical to the one on the regular T-rations, so its already aluminized, meaning that its airtight.

I got a case of these tray meals in my basement from at least 10 years ago. Like breakfasts I think I recall

Re: Tray rations
As to your question - if the tray above will still be good. There is a VERY good chance that it will be edible. Unless the tray has any punctures (pin holes, cuts, etc.) or damage that compromises its integrity then more than likely the cake will be bad.Arthur wrote: ↑Fri Dec 27, 2019 10:22 amHi everyone.
