Did a show And tell of foreign MREs to my cadets, they found it fascinating to compare it to British ORP packs.
The Russian ration generated a lot of interest.

so.......I dont get it. Did you let them try other rations? or just showed them?

Not in the time I had available there's too many to cook.
I've only got two hours plus NAAFI break to do it.
What I did do is break up the biscuits. Crackers and chocolates, opened the pate, then shared them out.
The cooking will have to wait until another suitable training opportunity.
