98 RCW's for Auction. Also some 2020 insp MREs
Thanks for the add to the forum, and thanks to all of you for all of the information and expertise you have about MREs!
I wanted to point you guys to the 98 Wornick RCWs I have for sale on EBay, and to also offer some 2020 inspection date MREs for sale.
http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200 ... olid=11111
I have an auction up for each of the six RCW menus. These are the last ones I have. They are in perfect condition. I found them in the bottom of a locker in a climate controlled building in sealed cases.
I also have 2020 inspection date MREs. I saw in a previous post someone was selling them for 50$ each, buyer pays shipping, so I'll match that. I have three A cases and three B cases. First come first serve.
Cheers.

Would you ship to Canada?

I'm a little bit gun shy about shipping these things internationally.
May be cost prohibitive anyway. PM me, and I'll see what we can work out.

Yeah brother, I bid early on and it got out of hand QUICK! If mysterious bidder Uncle Money Bags is a forum member perhaps they could ease up a bit and let some of the rest of us get a shot at just ONE...I saw there's only up to 4 bidders last I looked and 6 available, so by my count we could all get one and Scrooge McDuck could get the rest...I ain't sayin I'm just sayin know'm sayin...no need to be greedy eh? Jimbo is a stand up dude though, and I appreciate his sympathy with my saltiness lol...I'll keep on searching up here buds and if I ever come across any I'll spread around what I can to as many of yas as possible....I know there's gotta be some cases hiding around Anchorage somewhere...in the meantime best of luck? Although I'm guessing luck isn't really a factor anymore, it's whose got the deepest pockets...sorry for my ramble, I'm a sore loser lol...Cortexmelon wrote: ↑Mon Sep 24, 2018 12:25 pmSomebody bid super high on every single RCW's already, looks like i'm out of the race for any already lol. Yeah looks like it's one particular person bidding high on all of them. I'm maxed out on what I'd be willing to pay.

Some people have ghost accounts on their secondary devices (ie list item on phone, then up the bids on their tablet). If they don't find a collector to outbid themselves they just complete the transaction by selecting "bank transfer" and marking the transaction completed or by issuing themselves a refund. Be wary, people will try and exploit communities like ours. If you think it's too expensive, it probably is. Don't buy it, don't show what your "max" bid is, they just use that to know when to stop outbidding genuine bidders for next time.
It's a form of auction psychology too. Takes advantage of a persons competitive nature. Makes them feel like a winner for buying and a loser for not bidding higher. Pot committed mentality, etc.
Thanks guys and bid safe, MikeRE

Mike,
I understand your concern and understand if people are wary. I know that I am new to the forum and I have no one to vouch for me, but believe me when I say that inflating the auctions is just something I wouldn't do. I do my best to deal in good faith in all aspects of my life, and believe in doing what I say and speaking honestly. I also believe the vast majority of people will do the same, and do my best to trust people.
Besides, if what you said were true, then the ghost accounts I was bidding with would have to be brand new, since this is the first time I've sold something on Ebay. I believe that anyone can go and see the bidding history and see that all the bidding is from established accounts. I don't want the price of my auctions to go past the price the high bidder is willing to pay anyway, and I'd be greedy if I did since these things are going so high on their own.
Cheers.

The price is not even a $100 yet, I’d jumped on these if I did not have 4 cases already
. Few months back I bought 1996 RCWs for $150 each. Whoever is bidding on these, has set the max at $100-$120. Seems like the same person I was trying to outbid on 1996 rations.

Lol sorry my dude I didn't mean a specific person or have anyone in mind. My advice was purely general, I was just commenting from a purely information giving PoV, I didn't actually realise there was a link provided. So please don't take it personally and to anyone else reading please understand my previous post was about ebaying with caution at all times, not about any specific ebayer or member of this forum.Jimbo442 wrote: ↑Fri Sep 28, 2018 12:04 pmMike,
