RCW- production years?

Checked the reference section and couldn't find an answer-

Can anyone tell me the start and end dates for the double-pouch white bag RCW?

Not sure on the start dates but around 2002-03 Natick did start a transition away from the double bags and merge them with the LRP ration. I do remember seeing that after 2003 we did see a new combined ration. Also there was a notice that was put out about Natick trying to save on costs so therefore they were merging the two. It was posted here on the forum years ago but I can't remember where I saw it. Not sure if that helped but it should give you a frame of reference.

I’ve only owned ‘98 dated RCWs. Maybe if we could get guys to post any earlier dates they’ve seen we could narrow down on the beginning production year?

first run rcw was 1989.

I had 1989, 1996 and 1998. The last 2 were identical, both produced by Wornick.
