Hey all!
Thanks to Conrad I was able to review this. I really appreciate this forum, so much kindness.
Also check out Nighthawk1097, a buddy of mine, and a great guy here on the forum!

Killed by rancid pound-cake. I know that will be on my tomb stone.

Sweet! I enjoyed watching that. I can now, even more than before be glad that I sent it over. Nice to see it being reviewed and hopefully enjoyed to some of extent.
Just to pick up on a little accuracy point, i think you got the other sr 4 ration in your head when doing the title for this :p

And two of the things you mentioned, the heater, yeah the new type can be weirdly slow to work or fail entirely.

As for the little meat tin, I was a bit weird about those at first but I've gone through a lot of Polish rations at this point and I've got used to it. I've often used a leftover tin of it on some toast at home also.
The whole trying rations has me eating things I'd never have tried before like various versions of pâté, the Russian tins of fat etc

If you had a double heater as you said and I think you did, you used it a wrong way. There's instructions on the box and on the bag to place meal between the heaters and return it back into the bag. You just placed it as a single one.

As instructions say

I read over the heater, and I think I named it wrong, I think it was a single heater, bad one on my part.

It actually looked like he meant he thought you could place a packet on either side of the heater, inside the box. Which I suppose you could but that would be better suited to doing that with MRE style pouches

I thought it was double because when you/he add/s water it looks like there are 2 pads.

This one was actually only a singular pouch

They discontinued the twin heater by the end of 2016 - probably it was too powerful (if you add the amount of water according to the instruction - it will always boil out of the bag).
I saw you got S-R-4 with BB date in 2016 - it will contain the 'twin devil' ;)
Have access to: Polish, French, UK, US, sometimes other.
Interested in:New Zealand, Jordan, Israel, any South America
