I really do like the MREmountain site. Looks great, easy to navigate, and just another avenue of sales for the shop. Some folks don't do Ebay, so this will help. Plus no Ebay fees!

Congratulations wats, the new site looks great! And, I have to admit to some extremely funny (and unfortunate for me) timing here. I had been hearing quite a bit of good stuff about MREmountain from many people, but had never had the opportunity to order something. Well, I have done a number of reviews of stores and websites that offer rations for sale, but for the most part they have always sent me the stuff to review. Because it was "given" to me for free I've been accused of selling out or being a paid advertisement for the companies a few times. So, I decided to go ahead and order one of your MREs from the eBay store so I could give a 100% unbiased review of the company. I filmed the review last week and just took a break from editing it to check out things here at the forums. This thread was one of the first things I saw. So, now that the new site has launched, my review is completely irrelevant! I went on and on about how there was a website, but the actual selling was done through the eBay store (not true anymore). Also mentioned the shipping charges (not accurate anymore). Overall it was a very glowing review of the company, but obviously it would only serve to confuse people now, so I won't even be able to post it. Oh well, at least I learned about the new business model BEFORE I posted the video rather than after!

Best of luck with the new direction. It looks like you're doing a great job and are moving along just fine. Hopefully I'll be able to check out some of your stuff soon!

Hello! First off thank you! I still plan to keep the eBay store so your video will still be 100% relevant.

I can "PAUSE" the shop and set it back to the regular mremountain.com page that redirects to the ebay shop just as when you filmed.

The shipping charges bit is also relevant on eBay, and I'm having custom software written to implement the same shipping model on my webstore it's just taking some time to get into place.

The webstore really hasn't caught on yet, and 90+% of what I do is all still based out of the eBay store. The website flew under the radar for quite a while actually.

I apologize, had I known I would have gladly postponed or however it worked out for you.

But I definitely appreciate what you were trying trying to do. I really don't want to see your hard work go to waste.

I feel like what you've done would be extremely helpful to me and definitely still relevant!

The content creators like you are one of my top priorities as you guys make this all possible, and generate the interest.

I'm happy to do whatever we can to make this work.

Again really appreciate your sentiment here and I would feel terrible having your work not be seen (for it's own sake, not mine).

Just an update for all.

Website has been revamped with better shipping logic and all prices have been lowered! I will now be able to combine shipping on multiple item types, and refund you the difference saving you money!

Well, thanks to wats' and Steve's input I've gone ahead and posted the video (with a little update at the beginning to explain what happened and why some of the information might be a bit out of date). Hopefully this will be a good way for more people to find the site/store. Maybe when the site really takes off I might do a follow up. We'll see...

MREmountain was always one of my preferred sellers on Ebay, for quality, selection, etc. I actually just placed an order on the new website, which looks great.

Do you have plans to get any additional inventory? I'd be interested if you'll be selling Czech IMREs or Indonesian T2 S/Ps ?
