just got my first case of mre's

I just recieved my first EVER full case of civvie mre's (apack) and i am so happy with them. I will take pics and post them later. kman, if my pics are good, maybe you can put them on the apack page lol.

I am going to eat my first one, a spaghetti and meat sauce one, at school tomorrow

edit: pics are here! I think they turned out pretty good.

ok. I don't think I can even eat more than 1 or 2 in one sitting. I was waiting for school to get out so I could get my hands on theese. I was on the bus and normally I just get off and walk up my driveway, but today I got up, jumped off, and ran.

edit: they should have like an mre eating contest or something, shouldn't they? lol, and that would be funny if they made you eat the CCC in the case! (2004 latest production, borderline of tti going out I think)

I recall hearing something about a joke they play on new recruits...they have a contest to see who can eat a whole pack of MRE crackers in 30 seconds or less. Apparently, it's a joke because the crackers are so dry, no one can do it. But I haven't tried this myself...any takers?

I believe its two minutes for both crackers. I havent tried it, when I open an mre ill try it. (every apack has a pack of crackers.

ok I tried the cracker challenge at lunch half an hour ago, and it was almost impossible! I couldn't even finish ONE of them in 2 minutes!

But it´s the salt that dry out your mouth more than you can salivate...
