Can I get some feedback on my YouTube channel

Post by MRETester » Thu Feb 09, 2017 2:04 pm

Hello all. I recently began doing MRE reviews after retiring from military of 20 years. I have always been fascinated by what other countries military meals would taste like. So please check me out and give me some feedback. If you like what Im doing please subscribe to continue to get more reviews. Thanks

Sorry, but I think your cross-posting (3 identical posts in different parts of the same forum) is the biggest thing you need to correct.
We do see all three of them you know and it doesn't add anything but annoyance. (Plus confusion for both you and us if you have the same discussion branched out on three different threads).
Maybe you're not used to online forum ethics, but posting the same thing 3 times doesn't make it 3 times more interesting or 3 times more likely to get a positive response, rather the opposite :)

Yeah thanks. Sorry about confusion. I didn't meant to come across like that.

ok. I subscribed to the channel. You asked for some feedback, so here goes.

I would suggest you try a translation app or google translate. Translate the outer bag, then after you open the bag, pause the camera and translate the inner contents. This will help a lot.

You can grab a fairly inexpensive mount off Amazon for your camera. I typically use my iPad for filming, and the mount I found for it is awesome. you can move it into the position you want.

Great videos, keep them coming brother!

Much appreciated specially coming from you. I used iPhone 6 for this reviews mounted on tripod. Occasionally I bumped into it. Will try a different angle next time. Thanks.

Nice vids, I subbed.

Feedback:
1.) better lighting, I use LED panel lamps that can change color temp.
2.) A lighter color back drop, helps make what your showing the view pop more.
3.) A transition between shots, not just cuts.
4.) water mark your content. Thats the logo at the bottom right of my videos. (Help protect YOUR content)
5.) Youtube allows a 20 second outro where you can add sub buttons and playlist, use it to get more people.
6.) Isolate your camera on a tripod so bumps don't shake it.

If you ever need help on making or editing a video, just ask. We have a lot of people that make content on here.
