it was a bad idea to use those at work lol. I thought i was going to set off the sprinklers with all the hot gas coming out.

My first video with this FRH was a disaster and I didn't finish it. I added even more water than require. It boiled out on the table, I couldn't stop it, it was hot etc...
I guess one should give little less water - below the line.
The army requirement specification says that this should be magnesium free. If it was for "ignition reasons", but the heating agent produces hydrogen it doesn't make sense....
Asger, how do you know it is hydrogen?

It says on the box itself. As a result they ask you to use flameless heater only in open area.

That's why I call it "the devil FRH" :) - they probably wanted to find a way to heat up a 300g (almost twice as much as the US) foil can with the dish...
