Spanish Reinforcement for Cold Weather Ration

Post by rabidwolf »

Special Reinforcement for Cold Weather-Individual Field Ration.

I purchased some of these off of Ebay. From a seller that also sells the normal Spanish Ration Packs.
I was hoping some of the forum members could share some more information on it. Enjoy the pics, I'll do a tasting review later on.

I saw these on ebay, i was surprised that they seemed to be a tyvek pack with commercial items?

Not too strange i guess, but not what i thought would be send to special forces

I got some of these from Rabidwolf. Not what I expected either, but over the top happy with what I got. Waiting on one more Spanish ration to have a complete 24 hour Spanish ration with arctic supplements to do a full review. Will post it to the forums of course.

Side note, the packaging seemed strange to me also. But was pleasantly surprised to see how much food is inside.

Name_not_found: I probably should have exercised a better for of due diligence. When I first thought of acquiring these.
I have a faint recollection of a post on here. About changes coming to the existing Spanish ration for this.

Perhaps this is my first instance of falling for a knock-off. Just thought it was legit. With the seller also selling actual Spanish ration packs.
Oh well, that is one of the many issues. With collecting rations and trading.

BlackDogBob: I am glad that you are happy with them anyway. I'll try to be more knowledgeable of what I trade with you from now on. Tried to do some research with the seller.
Apparently, he is now offering 24hr packs. Very similar to what I posted here and traded with you. Though I doubt they are legitimate Spanish Military.

Hey as to the controversy of fake or legit, if you bought them from m4driles2011 on ebay they are the real deal. I won't say how he gets these but they are authentic issue stuff.

Cheers!

From what I have seen, they look to be legit. Brother, I am more than happy with the trade. I am going in with another guy on a group purchase of a bunch of Spanish rations including some of the big arctic 24 hour rations. Will review them when they get here. Reviews! Wow. I have SO many to do. But the good news is that I am finally taking a whole week off. Actually, by the time it's done, will end up taking 10 whole days. Haven't done that in over a decade. Will get caught up on my reviews at that time.

I have one massively large 24 hour ration I am going to do an outdoor group review of.should be a really good time!

gundog4314: That is the person I purchased these from. A welcome relief to know they are legitimate. Thank you!
