French "Porc Salade"

Post by housil »

First of all, "Happy Eastern" to every one.

After way too much eating yesterday ("Big Mac Salad"), I had a French entree "only":

The opened can:

After nuking (sorry for the mess on the plate)

So a "Porc Salade" is at least kind of a pork stew but not in a dark sauce. It was a very tender pork stew with nice chunks of pork, nice minced potatoes and still firm to the bite green beans. The sauce had a nice taste of sour creme and mustard.
I really liked it!

hmm...a sour cream and mustard sauce...interesting...Pork, green beans, potatoes...almost sounds like a southern potato salad with pork and green beans...I could see that being a canned meal....you've given me an idea.... ;)

Heated up the meal looks great. :D
I like the French Tins as you can heat them a variety of ways in the field and eat them out of the can.
No can opener needed.
