Hey everyone, I am currently going through a horrific time. My Son/dog/review partner is currently hospitalized and is in dire need of an emergency surgery. I've set up a gofundme, the link is below. go ahead and look at it to get a more in depth story about the situation and Ace himself.

I suggested Craig to put this link up here because I am willing to give anyone who donates 3 different Ration items for 3 different donation amounts.

$50 donation gets you a 2010 HDR

$125 gets you a beautiful FRESH 1993 DoP RCW A & B Component

$250 gets you a very rare Korean War - era RCI Accessory Packet June 1951 DoP.



Just donate and put your screen name - once it clears and is confirmed, let Craig and then me know and then provide me with your address. I will then send you the Ration you donated for.



I normally don't do stuff like this, but Craig is a really good kid, he has done some great reviews lately too - and his dog Ace is very important to him. So please if you can help - it would mean a lot to Craig and to me as well.

PS - I know that is really steep $ for some Rations that are probably only worth half that if even - I just wanna try & help Craig raise this money in time because according to his veterinarian, that dog could be in some serious trouble if he isn't helped soon. So this is essentially an incentive to donate. Also, I will let you guys know if and when the $ amount is reached - and when that is the case if this thread is needing to be taken down that is 100% OK. My heart just goes out to Craig & Ace and I am doing anything I personally can to help out.

Again, I try not to make a habit of asking for things, and folks here know this isn't something I have ever done here (asking for donations) so hopefully this isn't too much of a no-no. I promise not to make any habit of it - really, this is such a dire and unusual scenario, that it is most likely the only time anything like this will be a coming from me on here.

PS if someone even donates $25 - I have a sealed MRE Tuna & Noodles DoP 1992 here and I would gladly send it. I know that has to be the most expensive Tuna & Noodles ever but I promise your money would be going to a truly noble and good cause.

Craig, I'm so sorry to hear about Ace. I just have cats (a lot of them), but I know how terrible it is when they're hurt. I hope you hit that goal this morning and get Ace the surgery he needs.

Steve, thanks for getting him to post this. I donated, but don't want anything in return. Any rations you might have sent me - put them up on eBay for an irresistible buy-it-now price and donate that money to Craig, too - I'd rather see it go there. Thanks!

He is getting close to his minimum $ amount, I have faith that Ace will be OK.

Also, I may not need to part with these beloved Rations - not like it really matters. I always just say in situations like this "It's just stuff". It is the loved ones that matter most - the Rations are just one of the things that bring us together.
