Getting rid of old rations

Post by donaldjcheek » Thu Nov 13, 2014 10:55 am

Now that our daughter has married and moved out, my wife is in the "clean the nest" phase of life. That means that a lot of my old military & Boy Scout treasures ("Junk," according to her) has to go.

I'm looking to unload several boxes of rations. About 10 are commercial, plain-white-label entrees that were manufactured for the Y2K non-event. (I bought 'em cheap after the scare to use on Boy Scout campouts, and these are the leftovers).

I also have several (about 10-12?) complete MREs, both dk brown and tan packages. A few of these (no kidding!) date to 1987.

I'm not looking to make a profit, just get rid of them.

Anyone interested, please contact me. Pics available on request.

I'm interested in the older ones. How much do you want for each? And what menus are available?
