btw im not shure about the dates on this mre eather,al i know that this
mre came from 82nd Airborne at Fort Bragg. from a soldier who was
issued this ration for testing in the late 1970s. :D
and ended in norway in my collection :mrgreen:

The pics you have shown here are absolutely ok, but thank you for the offer :) !

Most amazing are the cigarettes in A-Pack B and the Crackers in round shape (MCI?) :o . Also interesting is the pouch with Peanut Butter, it looks very large. Do you know the weight of that Peanut Butter packet?

Does anyone know when cigarettes stopped being issued with the MCIs? The reason I ask is that the MCIs my unit was issued were from 1979 and 1980 and they had no cigarettes but I'm not sure what year was the cut-off.
