i wouldnt fancy using that drilling jig and expecting accuracy :D :
one thing i found when i went back to a bolt gun(1988),cooper had laid out his scout rifle concept and i whole heartly enbraced it.
if i could have any rifle again ,it wouldnt be the accurissed l1a1 or the g3a4(both rifles i used in the forces)that i had owned,it would be my little scout rifle a mauser action, with a short (18in)heavy barrel with an australian made fibreglass stock,it had the cooper cartridge holders in the stock,it could be fed from stripper clips and had a low power long eye relief scope ,6lbs and shorter than and more accurite than an m4 :D :D :D :D
Since the lower is the only part legally considered the firearm, all other parts can be ordered and shipped directly to your house, or you can buy them at a gun shop, gun show, etc, such as these: http://www.midwayusa.com/product/834400 ... lash-hider

but in the uk we have pressure groups intent on pushing their ideas on you, mainly greens the rest, health and safety freaks. after we lost our firearms i moved onto 4x4 with the intentions of a small business, soon in to that the greens and lefts removed the vehiclar access to 80 % of the rights of way in the uk.
Davy, I hope I read this right. You in Scotland have a powerful leftist party running things (i.e government) or is this a combination of several parties? Don't you have something like political action groups (PAC's) like we do here in the US, that can go head to head politically with these people?

yup treesuit you read it right, labour 48%(left) scottish national party 22% (far left)with only green pressure groups,we have land access pressure groups, but they only want access for themselves (no hunting ,4x4 ,canoeing or motor bikes).here freedom is something we export to other countries.
