in last months combat and survival magazine there is an article on the german mountain rations,freeze dried(trek &eat) main meals and loads of snacks,anybody can read the article by registering on thier site http://www.combatandsurvival.com/digitaleditions ,do these ration turn up much?

Until, we don´t have especialy Mountain Rations. The Bundeswehr provides three different kind of EPa´s.
The EPa (I-XIX)
The EPa leicht (I-V)
The EPa arctic (5000kcal)

.housil the olivgren plastic pack is markedeinmanpackung(epa) combat ration,typ ix, they look good,plenty to eat. sorry about the bum steer davy

The EPa IX is this:

It has 4 entree´s

2 of them are regular civilian supermarkt stuff
