Italian Module A yellow - review - Breakfast

Post by sw342pd » Sun Feb 26, 2012 9:13 am

Now here is all about to start the day:

The jellys in this menue are a kind of a sweet, as we know it here not really for breakfast, more like candy, but still very good, not to say this from the chocolate, very "american" style with sugar crystals in it - doesn`t meet german standard - but not bad.
I found the coffee very rich and one of the best instant coffes I ever had!
P2262109.JPG
Breakfast box: 1 pack of Sweet biscuits (50g), orange and cherry jelly (30g), sugared concentrated milk (100g), instant coffee (1,8g), chocolate (25g), sugar (8g), Water purification tablets, 3 disposal toothbrushes, 1 box of matches, 3 toothpicks, 3 paper rubbish bags, 1 salt bag, 1 camp stove, 6 fuel bars, 2 paper napkins, 1 plastic spoon, 1 instruction sheet
P2262112.JPG
sweet biscuit
P2262113.JPG
sweet biscuit opened - was a soft biscuit with no taste, not very sweet taste in my opinion

Italian Module A yellow - review - lunch

Post by sw342pd » Sun Feb 26, 2012 9:17 am

Lunchtime pals:

summary of the box - a lot of food, I´m stuffed now!
Good taste, good quality, but some items are not inthe meal: cold trinks and pepper or spice!

I wonder about the - bran tablets - doesn`t meet my taste - but think the italian forces need them when they eat all this heavy stuff! They shoul give them more "sh..." tickets too - if they think they need bran!
P2262110.JPG
Lunchbox: Tortellini w. meat sauce (230g), canned beef (140g), crackers (100g), fruit salad (225g), multivitamin tablets (10g/ 4 pc), instant coffee, 10 bran tablets, sugar, 2 paper napkins, 1 cutlery plastic
P2262122.JPG
fresh opened ravioli can
P2262124.JPG
right off the can - ready for microwave it
P2262126.JPG
delicious - very tasty, but not al-dente - ravioli - think because they`re canned and had a flushy sauce - for my taste, they could have a little bit more pepper - where is the pepper??
P2262123.JPG
canned beef meat - Made in Estonia! Had a good smell and good taste - had eaten it cold - see next picture
P2262125.JPG
unfortunately the crackers looks like they had a rought journey with italian post - finally those ones are "bite right" now - great with some beef on it - the crackers are sooooo gooood! sorry borthers! Very good food!
P2262121.JPG
"posteitaliano" style crackers

Italian Module A yellow - review - supper

Post by sw342pd » Sun Feb 26, 2012 9:19 am

Lets have Dinner:

supper update - here we go:
P2262119.JPG
Dinner box: Soup (300g), tuna in olive oil (80g), crackers (50g), instant coffee, sugar, 2 fruit and cereal bars, 2 paper napkins, 1 cutlery plastic
P2262115.JPG
The fruit and cereal bars
P2262117.JPG
smells like the EPAleicht fig bar - but tastes much more better!
P3052143.JPG
The minestrone, opened can, good smell
P3052144.JPG
Ready for rewarm minestrone soup - very tasty thin fluid but very rich on vegetables - tastes very good - could be a little more spicy for me, but still good taste anyway.
P3052145.JPG
tuna in olive oil - very delicious tuna with a fine olive oil taste and very little salt taste - good to fork right out of the can and eat with the biscuits together with minsetrone soup - mmmhhh
