Quick question along these lines, are the puddings, custards and sponge cake type desserts included in the UK ration packs (boil in bag type) better when eaten cold or heated up?

Hi guys,

today I opened the LEMON CAKE can I showed above some weeks ago :D . Now you can see the photo review:

As described on the lid I opened the one end first

The cake looks fine

Some cake glued on the lid of the can

It was not possible to get the cake out of the can, so I decided to open the second end, too. After cutting at the edge of the cake with a flat knife blade I pushed it out of the can

The taste was very artificial, much of lemon flavor :( . Also it was little bit dry :( ! All in all it was ok, but I have eaten better cakes in the past :) !
