So far Spain (Correos) wins for the slowest shipping 31+ days! And this is supposed to be airmail.

Don't think so. I sent a parcel to akg70 in Romania last 12/16 via Priority Mail USPS. they told me it was going to be there between 6-10 days. Today I got notice that it arrived yesterday @ Romania and is in transit to Adrian.almost 23 days later!!! :shock: :shock: :shock:

It looks like Aus Post rates as highly as all the other , postal and Courier services mentioned on this thread. After 5 weeks of waiting several phone calls and emails, they finally deigned to deliver my package. First they could not find my address and returned it too sender ( By the way they did not even look for my address). Surprise surprise, it did not even get back to the sender because they could not locate his address either :cry: . Finally I tracked it down to a mail centre (warehouse) in Brisbane where it had sat for a month waiting for collection by the sender. Slight problem he lives in Townsville about 2000km away :shock: . When I called to see if I could have it resent to me or even to pick it up ( only about 30 km from me). I'm sorry its in senders possession can you get him to come in and remail it? :x .

Finally I I got hold of a very helpful govt employee who fwded it to me with no further problems. Big Up to Andrew of the Australia post, ( and it was his first day) :D

Actually I sent a parcel to Germany two or three days ago. It was not so big, it was almost 15 kgs. So, it was big but nothing special. The price was 70€!!!! can you believe that? 70€!!! a total rip-off!!! What makes me jealous is that from Germany to Spain the same parcel would be something like 20€, 25€ but I`m sure it wouldn`t reach the 30€. Awfull expensive.

And Post Office is the cheapest. Courier services like UPS, Hermes, and the like would have charged me 120€.

No comment.

Good luck, people.

I've sent a 6.4 kg in Belgium on January 13. Cost me around 30 euros. I know that a parcel over 10 kg is very expensive to send from here too.

Luis, is the same here. I researched using UPS or FEDEX to send the parcel to Adrin In Romania and they charged "an arm,both legs, one ear and at least the two index fingers" over $80-100 dollars.:shock: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
I used USPS and still they charged me close to $ 50-60 bucks for a parcel of 5-6 pounds ( 2-3 kilos.. excuse my metric :roll: ).
I used Priority Mail which they told me it was going to be delivered in 6-10 days. Instead it took almost a month for him to receive it. :shock: :roll:

I have to send Nicodim a parcel, I always send him as non-priority/economy. It have 3 weeks to arrive, while his parcels to me took at leas 5 weeks for "priority". I say this because he already got my parcels this way.

Have any other US members here noticed a delay in receiving foreign mail/packages when sent through USPS; ISC NEW YORK NY(USPS) ? This is one of the USPS main mail centers where mail is distributed / collected once it arrives in the USA. I have had a package sitting here 8 days so far and no updates.

USPS Status looks like;

Priority Mail International Parcels

Processed Through Sort Facility
