New Zealand Ration Pack

Post by Bandit395 » Mon Jun 27, 2011 8:57 pm

Has anyone tried or seen the ration packs sold by a New Zealand company? I believe the kit is called a hunger kit and is designed to feed three meals per day.

I've seen something like that on ebay. Is that what you mean? If so, I've often thought about getting one and trying but the shipping to get it here is way too much.

Just wondering if this is what you guys are talking about:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Army-Rations-New-ze ... 53e2d436bc

Looks like a 'put-together' ration to me since there aren't any pics of the meal in its packaging, but lose bits.

A price of nearly $185.00US for what amounts to the same quantity of meals as a case of MRE's!

The additional $70+ dollars to ship it to the States seems the least of it.

Of course if you move to Australia your shipping is free.
