I wouldn´t prefer a Wolf (Mercedes G) neither my Iltis nor my X3.

The Mercedes G is a 2.7t - 3.5t heavy vehikle with 90 to 102 hp.

My Iltis has 1.5t with 75hp

The Iltis is the stronger and faster one and won the famous ralley Paris - Dakar in 1980  The G never  .

Do you realy want me to compare a 1978 designed miliatry purpose vehikle with a civilian 2005 designed BMW?!

The X3 is a 1.8t 150hp (2 liters gas engine, no diesel) car.
Cruise control, air conditioned, GPS, soundsystem, X-Drive with hill decent control etc...

I wish I could have a X3 in G-painting

I had a very unpleasant experience with an BMW X5 a month ago, when I was invited on a holiday house of one friend, located in an mountainerous zone of Romania. We have to travel on a steep forest road, to get there, and I was in the X5. With us was Andrei's (the host) Mitsubishi Pajero and another Mercedes ML. Keeping short, the Mitsubishi was the only car which get on the hut,BMW and Mercedes cars didn't match the capabilities of an "proper" 4x4, so Mitsubishi hauled us and the stuff we got in a few trips.

So, Olli, please don't be angry on me, I know BMW makes fine cars, but I always match my car with my needs :D

Be sure, I´m not Image

If I had to drive real "hard core" offroad, I wouldn´t want to have a BMW too.
The X1/3/5 are not made for. They are fine limousines with some "rough terrain" capabilities, but not real(!) offroad.

Yesterday, at 5 inches snowfall I felt like the king of the road. No hill up nor down could stop us. This was so great and a real fun

Today I went to the local coffee shop at about Midnight with T-shirt and Jeans on. It is about -7C, so it is more like spring weather to me ;) I haven't had to buy a Winter Coat in about 5 years. Usually a light spring jacket or a hoody and I am good to go. Most of my friends have massive winter coats. So funny.
