A single T-18 has usually ~3kg. (some more - some less)

4 x 3kg = 12kg just for the trays. Just this is as heavy as a MRE case.

Great find and great post.

Would love to score one of these and take it on a Boy Scout cabin camping trip...

Housil,

I'm sorry was it Ebay.de or ebay here in the USA? Also what did you use for a search name; "UGR-E" or "UGR"?

My sincere apologies housil if you have already covered this, but is there an equivalent to the UGR in bundeswehr rations?

My sincere apologies ?!?!
Why so "starchy" ??

We have something similar, but not an "E" version.
Ours is called "Gruppenverpflegung", but you need an field kitchen allways with it.

Did not mean to sound so starchy, but I've noticed that I tend to ask the same question more than once because my memory is not very good lately, and that's why I apologized----in case any folks in the forum were saying "hmmmm.....he already asked that" :) Thanks for the information though.
