Ken,

Oh my, that is unfortunate. Yes, do check which one it could be. If you can't I will try an find another and send it to you. C-ration cases are very hard to find, I will try to keep my eyes open.

I am curious to know what was inside the one I gave you. :?

Norge, I don't have a c-ration case, but I do have a carton for an individual c-ration meal. It is brand new and unfolded.

MEAL, COMBAT, INDIVIDUAL
TURKEY LOAF
B-3 UNIT
UNIVERSAL FOLDING BOX CO., INC. HOBOKEN, NJ 07030

I got it out of a case of 1982 MREs. For some reason, they used old unused c-ration cartons in the bottom of the MREs to cover a hole in the box, where the flaps did not quite come together.

If you are interested in adding it to your collection, PM me with your address. :D

Norge,

I'm seeing all those MRE's I gave ou are going to good use. That and the LRP ration case I passed along, hmmm.....such a rare find that one.

With all those rations laying about, I'm surprised those kids of yours haven't swiped them and tried to eat them.

Awesome pics norge! Just curious if you have come across the newer cold weather rations in the same tan color pouch as the current issue MREs? Not sure if they are still being issued but they are supposed to be much better than the white pouch RCWs. If I'm not mistaken, there was a link to them on the forums at one time, they were the RCW/LRRP rations. (And please forgive me if you have already posted pics of them? :) )
