Civilian version of FSR sandwich?

Post by fdsman » Sun May 30, 2010 9:34 pm

dunno if this has been discussed already but found that browsing around on amazon. Considering one of these goes for 20 bucks on ebay, I think 4 for 20 is a good deal.

Am I missing something?

The seller is Meyers Custom Supply. If you go to their website they sell;

1. A combo pack of 5 different FSR sandwiches for $ 14.95 ($ 2.99 each)
2. The chicken BBQ FSR sandwiches in a 10 pack for $ 29.95 ($ 3.00 each)
3. The individual chicken BBQ sandwiches for $ 3.25

Besides the pretty box, is there something that would make these sandwiches worth $ 5.00 each? Or am I just being stingy?

BTW - The Epicenter sells them for $ 2.89

Treesuit is right about the price on the sandwiches with epic center, it's way cheaper then those prices listed. Plus with epic center you can order some of the other stuff with your shipment too! like that giant box of entree for 150 bucks, freeze dried food in #10cans and tons of pound cakes( if you like that stuff like me) :mrgreen:

If you're in southern California, you just missed the parking lot sale at SOS Survival Products. Jeff (the owner) had a bin of Bridgford shelf-stable sandwichs out there . . . for 99¢ each!

Since I still need to buy emergency food for our new school, I contacted the Bridgford manager back in NY and he sent me a bunch of samples for our office. I can hear Homer now, "Mmmmm....shelf-stable!"

The 48-count loose pack price for most of these is $125 -- that's $2.60 apiece.

No? No, what?

The 99¢ price? The free samples sitting on my desk right now? Or the case price of $125?
