1992 & 1993-entrees eaten & I'm still alive!!

This past month I've eaten the following entrees from 1992 & 1993

pork chow mien-1993 , 3049 M21 5 AA2 , shelf stable , LIQUIDY BUT TASTED GOOD
spaghetti w meat sauce-1993, 3179A A05A, ameriqual , MUSHY NOODLES BUT GOOD SAUCE
tuna w/ noodles-1992, 2342 1 5AH , shelf stable , VERY GOOD TASTE BUT THE NOODLES WERE SOGGY
tuna w/ noodles-1993 , 3214 M21 2AF2 , shelf stable , VERY GOOD TASTE-NOODLES LESS SOGGY
beef stew-1993 , 3343710A , star food, LOVED IT
potatoes au gratin-1993, 3097510B , shelf stable , DISAPPOINTING AS I AM A CHEESE LOVER!POTATOES MUSHY

All of the above were in dark grey or dark green pouches.
The cardboard boxes had no nutritional info on them & the back of the boxes were blank.
So, I am now a confirmed MRE taste tester!
Hard to believe I never got sick from 17 to 18 year old entrees!
Now the big taste test will be with my beef frankfurters - have 4 from 1993 and 6 from 1996.
From what I have read here, they do not seem to be liked much by many members.
Any tips on making the taste test memorable??

the beef frankfurters was a good mre meal,i loved them.

Just ate 1992 Menu #12 - Escalloped Potatoes With Ham. Yummy main dish. Sorry, no pics.
Applesauce - Slightly darker than new applesauce, but still tasty.
Crackers - fine.
Grape jelly - sticky and sweet.
Brownie, Choc Covered - this is still my favorite MRE food, hands down. Good after 18 years!
Beverage Base, Orange - Metallic taste. Did not drink more than a mouthful. BAD.

Recently tried Chicken Stew, Chicken A La King, Meatballs w/ Tomato Sauce, and Pork w/ Rice in BBQ Sauce. I liked the Chicken Stew. Did not care for the others. Chicken A La King has some strange twangy spices, and the Pork w/ Rice was way too spicy for my bland palate. Mostly the side dishes were OK, but occasionally I am finding a bad one. One had an Accessory Packet with caramels that had turned somewhat drippy and gotten gunk all over everything else in the Accessory Packet. I discarded it.

Tootsie Rolls taste almost the same after 18 years.
