Mountain House Mexican style rice & chicken

Santa delivered a box to us and I got some Mountain House meals. I was pretty excited about them as I read so many about but never had once before.







I ilke that ziplock closure, a smart idea.





The taste was a nice surprice to me, a nice varity to all the MRE´s dishes and they are much better in taste than German EPa leicht freezedried dishes. I added a dash of salt.
The texture of the ingrediens was nice, soft but not slushy.

I´d like it

I´m curious how the freezdreid will taste as they are the same as in MCW

You noticed that?!?! Wow, I´m amazed...

Mrs. Housil bought new plates. In-law said, they looks like the same they had at the barracks. Now I love them...

Housil...if you can get your hands on some, Mountain House's Lasagna with Meat Sauce is really good, and they actually sell them in larger (#10 size - 10 servings) resealable cans that have a 25-30 year shelf life.
