Usually external US division doesn’t bring their ration to a training area.
They refer them from the training area warehouse.
Normally the cases are not opened by warehouse personal.
They were given out original packaged.
But as I said I just can tell you for here maybe in other barracks or training areas they manage it on other ways.
, never heard about that procedure before! I guess there must be a very capacious warehouse in HTA, I would like to take a visit 
!And at last I´m happy with my case of darkbrown MREs, never mind whether it is a fake or not
