First Strike Ration Sandwiches at The Epicenter

Post by kman »

I just received a note from the owner of The Epicenter that they now have all four of the First Strike Ration pocket sandwiches in stock. This is the first time I've seen these for sale and I already have in my first order. Here's the link to their page with all their MRE stuff:

Unfortunately, it sounds like The Epicenter has had some trouble with international orders and for whatever reason, not only are they not accepting international orders but they're also blocking any non-US, non-Canadian, and non-military sites from accessing their website. So if you try to go there and you get a "403 Forbidden" error, that's why. You can pretty easily find a US proxy to work around that issue or I've enclosed a screen shot of the sandwiches section below.

I'm sure we should be able to arrange some creative trades with our non-US and non-Canadian members so they can check out the new sandwiches, too.

Hey Kman,

That is a pretty good deal. I just went here and ordered some of those sandwhiches. At $2.89 a piece it's not all that bad. I'll defintely be waiting in anticipation for them. Glad you gave us the heads up on them,

It's about darn time these things finally became available. We've been hearing about them for, what, two years.

Damn straight, about time. I just placed an order also. I have a buddy E-7 at Ft. Riley, been to Iraq, 11 Bang-Bang, never saw an FSR yet, he says.
After the Chicken and the Egg, came the "Omelet"!

My stepson is stationed @ Ft. Irwin-NTC in CA and they haven't seen one yet either.Even when the units they train go to either Afghanistan or Irak, they haven't seen one yet.Now they are getting the news stock of MRE's  .So all of the ones they use are NOS....lol
Incredible....
Peace!

I've had some of these already..
They do taste like a Hot Pocket but the only thing is the bread is really dry..like suck all the moisture from your mouth drying.
But it does taste like a pizza hot pocket..

If I were to have to survive on these I would really need some water to go with them..
These you cannot eat alone without drinking..

Rogue187,

Hey, Dangerous Dave and I just did our FSR pocket sandwich review over on the Other US ration review thread. I commented on the filling. I didn't think it was that great but still very nice to try one and didn't think the bread was all that dry. Did you by chance ever microwave one?

yamalube, you might want to email them to make sure they ship to Canada. They aren't blocking site visitors from Canada but I couldn't find anything in their shipping policies that said yes or no to shipping to Canada.
