Post by Doom64Guy » Wed Dec 10, 2008 1:52 pm

Hey y'all, i got a question. can anybody tell me how many, military MREs are breakfast ones. i know the MCWs have breakfast meals, but i have seen only one breakfast regular MRE, and that was here on MRE info. you know that veggie omelet one. so if anyone can help me i just want to know if there are any others. :?: :?

Welcome to the forums, Doom64Guy.

There are 24 different MREs you can have for breakfast...just take your pick:

http://www.mreinfo.com/us/mre/mre-menus.html :-)

But if you're looking for traditional breakfasty items, the only MRE used to be the Veggie Omelet. But thankfully that one was removed and has been replaced with Maple Sausage in the 2009 MREs:
  • 2009 Menu 4
    Maple Sausage
    Granola, milk, blueberries
    Fruit butter, apple
    Crackers
    Cinnamon Scone
    Toaster pastry
    French vanilla cappuccino
    Salsa verde
    Accessory packet C
    Spoon
    Flameless ration heater
    Hot beverage bag

WOW!, now I'm getting scared! Looks like some stuff when I didnt know how to drink many years ago and lastly looks like a piece of foam that sticks out from my car seat. If is dosent smell bad and taste okay and keeping my eyes closed, I would take a bite or would it take a bite out of me? Well in 10 years + I will have some reviews to post up here also, but maybe one that will make you want to eat it.
Nice Pics.
POTTED MEAT! A FAVORITE! Eat too much and you get THE GOUT!

It seems to me like those T-18 eggs with... rations. (They are "ok").
The shape was formed by the pounch, like early (nut-, fruit-) cakes.
I had would given it a try, but now I will imagine to eat my cars seat...
