I've only ever tasted US ones, but I've got to hand second place to the Russian ones. Too bad they aren't on the list. I base this on their appealing EPa-like appearance with the lids on and appalling Mighty-Dog-like appearance with the lids off.

And what's everyone's deal with the old "don't eat the Charms," thing? They're like the stickless version of a bank counter lollypop. I'd probably buy them alone if I could find them.

I have to vote for the MREs. The British rations are nice for a change and the German EPAs aren't too bad either. But the MREs have more of the food I'm used to so if I had a choice of what to live off of, I'd probably go with them.

I voted for MREs also. I´m a fan of German EPas, especially the canned (continental) breakfast bread. But as German food is "daily" for us, I prefer some "exotic" like MREs. I don´t like the (hot, spicy) taste of all entrees, but the crackers are No1, the cacao also!!! :D
If I need just one meal, I have to take some stuff out of an EPa, but can take a whole MRE with me don´t care it´s for dinner nor lunch.
Same to RCIR, the entrees are very, very delicious to me (french cuisine).
The brit´s are not famos for their kitchen... but have the best chocolate.
Canaidan IMPs are similar like US, but rare and hard to get over here.

French ration is my liking.
If Spain and Italy are included in a choice, I will be having wavered very much.

Hi,
as I could eat beans and bacon three time a day I chose the Brit ration.
I also like the accessories, soup, tea, only problem: their price!
I also appreciate the MRE because of its FRH and of the many menues available.

The RCIR are OK too but the entrees are too similar to those I can buy in the local "Leclerc" (=Walmart,Lidl...). As Housil said, not exotic enough

For is is a tie of MRE's and RCIR's for the 1st place.... the MRE has a big variety and as housil mentioned are handy, but the RCIR has good food in those lil cans and they have some "exotic " food like paté, lapin(rabbit) and their sweets are awesome!!!
I have tasted the Spanish rats are good too. I had some Epa's V they are ok.
BUT....the least is the russian rats IRp's they taste as they look....NASTY!!   better to eat dog food either dry or canned it taste better....lol
