The Boats (PBR's) were real (borrowed), everything else was Hollywood BS.

The makers of the show said that they brought in all of the equipment and vehicles from Iraq. Some of the actual soldiers being portrayed in this series are active advisers, consultants and even partake in acting. And all the actors, ex-recon Marines, stunt coordinators, producers and directors say that they did their best to portray what the 1st recon-Marines experienced in Iraq during the first five weeks of the invasion.

But, then again this is what HBO and their exec's have put together to show the viewers that their show is as "authentic" as they could make it...so it definitely could be a bunch of Hollywood B.S.

Being someone who has never set foot in Iraq, I would definitely listen more to a soldier who has served in Iraq rather than a HBO show...

I guess I have to find one of these Marines and get a interview with them!
Cpl Ray Person: If Saddam spent his money on the p*ssy infrastructure of Iraq, instead of his g@y @ss Republican Guard we wouldn't have this war!
