Why can't you get MRE's? Is it lack of availability in the Netherlands or is it the customs and shipping regulations?aquarius wrote:To make things worse: Today I bought 24 complete Dutch Army 24-hrs Rations for only 144 euro. They come complete with 2 entrees! entrees are in tin cans and in pouches.
Luckily I could pick them up, so no S&H had to be payed.
To be honest, I am not a great fan of Dutch rations, because thet lack variety. But since MRE's are almost impossible to get over here, I have to stick to my Dutchies.

Interested in trading some MRE's for some dutch rations?aquarius wrote:MRE's are very hard to get here, especially for a reasonable price. Money buys it all, but I don't want to pay 10 euro for a MRE.
IN the Netherlands are no US troops stationed anymore, so left-overs are non excisting. Only the 'ration afficionados' in Germany have a possibilty to get some.
As long as items are send by US Postal Service there are no problems with customs. If items -no matter what- are coming in with Fedex or UPS there's always pa roblem. At least this is my experience.
You will be disapointed about dutch rations.NightSniper wrote: Interested in trading some MRE's for some dutch rations?
