"Walnettos"

They are superb candies that should be included in every menu.

The beef strip is a "slim Jim".
The Lipton Tea Bag (acc. pack E)
Shortbread coockies: Lorna Doone
Fruit bar: Daddy Ray's Nutra fruit.

And of course the M&M's indeed. l'l go trough my list and will come up with more.

(yes, sorry. I've already eaten the contents  )

I remember there was a oblong pack with coloured fruit gums called "Jelly bar" at the beginning of the MRE era.
I loved them,very delicious !
also I can remember at the beginning of the MRE era there was one round candy out of B-3-C-ration (taht one in silver foil) in the accessory packets but it was taken away out of MRE very soon.

norge, again and again I´m impressed about your display :o ! It is really great! If I will find enough storage place, I will begin to display my "treasures" the same way like you do :D !

Hey norge, great display ! wow ! you collected all those wonderful things from the different time periods they have been into the MRE,C-Ration ...
I think I also had the most of the items of your display but I m not a collector I eat all my MRE I get or find.
But I have some old still closed C-ration (see also my photos at HTA),my great treasure is an old closed accessory packet with cigarettes and an unopened P38 can opener.
I also love the most of MRE but my favorite are the old C-ration, thats the reason why I eat MRE and collect the old c-ration now.

I had peanut butter M&M's in a recent MRE.
Quite nice they were too.

In the current menus, I believe the Nacho Cheese Pretzels are a commercial product called Combos; the Baked Snack Cracker, Cheese, and the Baked Snack Cracker, Hot & Spicy, are both CheezIt crackers from Nabisco. I haven't seen one of menu items with the pouched Tuna, but I wouldn't be surprised to find that it is one of the retail pouched Star-Kist Tuna packages.
