Kelly Kettle
First used over a century ago by Irish gypsies and Irish fishermen, a Kelly Kettle will boil water in just a few minutes, depending on the fuel.

You might want to google with the search argument of "storm kettle" to get a list of different manufacturers of similar products. Kelly Kettle is a brand name specific to the Kelly Kettle company in Ireland. Storm kettles are marketed as camping items and they all seem to be in the same approximate price range. Of course, as with all gadgets, their performance isn't anywhere near their claims, but they will boil a pint of water in about 6-7 minutes.

Pricing
The Kelly Kettle is reasonably priced.
One gauge for pricing an item or two.
Does it come with a warranty?
Will it last a lifetime. Lifetime guarantees are a way to go if you
can get 'em.
Eventually I'll get both sizes and test them all.
If it was good enough for me ancestors it's good enough for me.

I've got the smaller version of this, 1.5 pint I believe - they are great bits of kit, if all you want to do is boil water
. You can get a pot support for the larger version which will hold a small billy can etc.
If your searching ebay etc for one, use "kelly kettle", "storm kettle" or "volcano kettle".
Great bits of kit in my view and worth the investment.

Re: Kelly Kettle
Now available in a 1.75 capacity which seems to me to be the one to go for if you on your own or there's just a couple of people to boil water for.
Whatever you do, don't run one 'dry' they will spring a leak, as I found to my cost
Bt the way, I havn't posted on here in ages, i'd actually forgotten I was a member here and only came across the forum again by accident. The new improved version looks great!
Hope you are all doing well!
