NEW PREPAREDNESS PRODUCTS

Post by SoFloAuthor » Sun Jun 08, 2008 9:12 am

Here's a couple of NEW preparedness products I've found while attending the recent hurricane conferences in Florida this year.

MFC Survival Flood Bag- NASA technology comes back to earth! 4 sizes, the largest will house an SUV! Bags work on the principle of a divers dry suit. Simply pack the items you wish to protect from rain, water or flood...zip up the bag with the provided dry liner and dessicant in place...and evacuate. If the water rises, a one way valve allows the bag to vaccuum seal your possessions.....When you return, your items are DRY! Reusable.....Made in the UK

RediWash Pocket Bath- Self-heating washcloths come 5 to a pack. Strike the package on the edge of a table to start heating process and in 2-3 minutes you have a warm clean up! Tough adult sized wash cloths.

You can find links to other cool prepredness products like the WaterSafe, Solar Stik and mrefoods on my website. www.mattlawrencebooks.com

If you wait to "prepare" after a disaster strikes...."it's too late!"

That MFC Survival Flood Bag looks kind of interesting. But I couldn't find any links to prices. Any idea what these go for?

As for the RediWash Pocket Bath, I couldn't find a link to it on your site. Is it on the front page or somewhere else?

Hi Kman...the Flood Bag is so new that pricing to the U.S.A. is tentative. I will be speaking with them 6/9/08.......I've heard wholesale pricing on the small one is around $1400USD (NASA technology is not cheap)

The Self-Heating Redi Wash does not have a site yet....retail on those is just under $5 a package (5 wipes in each package, one time heat and use)
I will be speaking to them as well in the near future.

These products are that NEW....I'll get back to you here.

Water Spout

See link of video of water spout that formed near Hollywood, Florida.
As these clouds absorb the ocean water it appears likely that Florida will see alot rain.
