I bought a case of the Tuna and Pasta a while back from at a Big Lots store for 80¢ each. I didn't think the pasta was as bad as the review site that you referenced thought it was, but I wouldn't pay $4 a can for them though. They're not very large portions, the 6.2oz weight is kind of a giveaway to that and they're relatively low in protein content (7gr for the Tuna & Pasta). You would need to supplement it with other foodstuffs to make a meal out of it.

Hi,
it can be good but I find it's pretty expensive.
Here, in any supermarket we have a lot of tuna salad, rice salads very similar to that one and they cost no more than $1.5 or 2 a box!

The $3.99 price is the MSRP and apparently what the California site that bishopmarine referenced was charging for the St. Dalfour items. There are other web sites that offer them for less (google St. Dalfour Gourmet On The Go.) They also appear to be available from some Whole Foods Markets in the U.S. for $2.99. Still a bit expensive for my tastes though.

Oh man...I have't been to a Big Lots in months. Seems like I'm missing all sorts of good stuff!

a couple of weeks ago in kingsport tn i went to biglots they had hormel compleats for 1.50 each locally for me now they are 2.50 each so i bought about 40 of them at 1.50. they even had a good selection with a good expiration date. i have grown to really like those even though i have to some crackers or bread to go along with it.

My favorite score so far was a couple of years ago when Big Lots had the Castleberry lasagna in an MRE-like retort pouch. Here's what they looked like:

They were only $0.99 so I stocked up!
