The Epicenter 2008 Summer Savings

Post by jfko6 » Wed May 07, 2008 6:24 pm

As a compliment to my recent order from The Epicenter.Com they sent me one of my favorite items in the MRE: The Beverage Bag as a complimentary gift w/ heater and coffee. My friends at the Epicenter have always been generous. Here's is an image of their promotional.

I'm not trying to nitpick or anything, but you're talking about The Epicenter, right? As in "the epicenter of the earthquake".

I've dealt with them before and they're a great group.

I think Kman was trying to tell you that there might be a problem with your spelling. You probably meant the http://www.theepicenter.com with a double "e" and one "c"

Good folks at the Epicenter. My recent orders have included some gadget and I too got the coffee and heater bags. My last order they threw in some of the Gel fuel.

I've found that their MRE prices even when adding shipping are pretty close to other online places that included shipping. That and I typically get my order within about 3 days, whereas 7-10 days I've seen elsewhere.

Yeah the folks at Epicenter have been generous and responsive. They threw me some extra things I needed.

I highly recommend them.

You're lucky, MR.EMAN - the Epicenter is practically right next door to you. For me, it's a long haul across the country but I still like the guys. Even with the long distance, shipping comes out to be about the same compared to other places.

Indeed. I like longlife foods, as their selection and prices, and some itmes if bought in bulk are pretty darn good, but it takes alot longer. The only "fault" I have with epicenter, is that they don't seem to carry the MRE bread, and if I'm not mistaken, I've noticed this weekend they seem to have taken down the pork rib.
