Post by housil » Fri May 02, 2008 5:42 am

May 1st is a statutoriy holiday in Germany.
Families go BBQ, camping, bicycles touring, birds are singing, little kids play at the playground (you know what I mean...)

Excapt Hamburg and Berlin. See what young neonazies- and communistic punk party memebers do every year at May 1st:

Hugh crowds of hooded, balled head, armed (baseball bat, cobblestones) unemployeed, brainless ... provoking with setting cars on fire, riotting thrue the streets etc. the authorities untill the whole scenery starts fighting.
Neonazies against Police, Communists against the Police, the Neonazies agaist the Communists...

Remeber Hamburg is the city where Mohammed Atta and his "disciples" were living and went to university - preparing 9/11
Hamburg is "famous" for its liberal justice  and reigned by Social-Democrate Party
Very social - very democratic is this human waste set all your belonings on fire...

Police can´t fight hard enough against that! Thousend of young people from all over Europa travel each year to Hamburg/Berlin, joining the riots.

So I will take my Iltis now for a mechanized hike and escape in the woods, camping and eating rations for the whole weekend... :D

Oh, there's obviously a gang of nuts from Brittany in the riot (see the white-black striped Breton flag well visible during the first 20 seconds of the video!)

Hamburg sounds a little like you have your own San Francisco or Berkeley - except for the rioting street punks part...I think they just have rioting Code Pink liberals in San Fran and Berkeley:

Housil, you´re teasing me again with your Iltis :D

For those of us not from germany, the Iltis is similiar to a humvee, as in a VW golf is similar to a SUV

Housil, is your Iltis reliable?

I´m torn between buying a VW181, a Munga or an Iltis...

Never had a problem yet. Its a 22 years old one. After spending €9000 for buying, restoring (body fixing, painting), accessiors etc.

Depends what you want to do with it!

The Munga is a 50 year old, 2 stroke engine, "needs-maintance-like-a-helicopter-toy".

See:

The Kübelwagen (VW181) is nothing for "outdoors"

and a straight heritage of the Wehrmacht Küblewagen.

The Iltis is a "newer" vehikle, 4 WD, reliable VW Golf, Passat, 1,7l 75PS engine.

Remebmer my "escape" to the woods?! I´m back:

Nazis, Communists... as bad as each other, a bunch of violent cranks. I can't stand those people. As usual it's the police who are in the firing line. You made the right decision, Housil.

Thx mate!

A bigger problem is our law - allows everybody to sue everyone for everything.
So a Hamburg judge allowed the Neo-Nazi-Party to "demonstrate" - also forbad the police to seperate the Nazies and the Communists to avoid the riot.

Hamburgs police was betrayed by their own judges.

Also our politics.
Hans-Christian Ströbele,
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hans-Chris ... %C3%B6bele
a member (chairmen!) of the "greens" (enviroment protection party) and member of the German Bundestag (government) was a laywer of the former RAF ("Red Army Faction") a terroristic group! The RAF was kidnapping and killing german politics, police man and US Army members. Also blow up Mai 1972 the headquarters of 5th US Army Corps in Frankfurt:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_A._Bloomquist

This man is a reason why 9/11 could grow in Germany - also the riots.
An elected member of our government...

That's unbelieveable.

Then again, yesterday's newspaper said a woman has been permitted to carry on working in 'Legal Aid' (and keep a $35,500 legal scholarship) despite her conviction for criminal damage committed during the 'G20' riots in Melbourne.

Housil,
I agree with Baldy, you made the right choice. If you want to you can come on over to the Pacific Northwest for a spell and you won't have to worry about any of that rioting crap. Plus you can come to my house and get all the MRE's you want. :P Washington state is kind of like Germany in some ways, so you would feel right at home.
