USA Tax Rebate

Post by DangerousDave » Mon Apr 28, 2008 5:32 pm

So, if you are an American tax payer, we are about to get a check from Uncle George. If you remember, when he came in, we got 300, now that he's on his way out, he's giving us 600. Thats just for the Single tax payer. What are you going to do with this free bonus cash? Ammo? New roof? Used Beretta 92? Gasoline for next 6 months? What??? :P

"Free bonus cash"...I've said it before and I'll say it again...

It's like someone comes along, kicks you in the balls, and takes your wallet. Then a few weeks later, he comes up to you and hands you $20...and makes like he's doing you a favor and you should thank him.

Some people paid no taxes and yet are getting a rebate (the noble poor!). Some people paid lots of taxes and yet get no rebate at all (the evil rich!). And then everyone else both pays taxes and gets a "rebate". Our tax system is slowing swinging back to being a wealth redistribution system.

Pop quiz...who said: "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need".

Exactly, Kman. I think I'll buy a new chinese made computer, from Wally. I already have enough ammo. Will it help the Chinese economy? Yea. They are still scared of us, since we shot down our own satelite, and the Israeli's blasted the North Korean/Syrian project into the sand(Last Year). Funny how thats only coming out now.

I say that instead of sending everyone $600 per person, they should send them 10 cases of MREs. That way, everyone will be prepared for emergencies and the price of MREs on eBay will plummet to $10/case because supply will be so high!

Hah, thats a good solution for sure!

I'll be saving mine since I'm about to get laid off in the next few months, but I'm also going to pay off the CC and wife's ring, so that'll be nice.

i will get caught up on some bills. my wife is pregnant and having some complications. it has forced me to miss much work. so i am glad to be getting the money. i do agree with you kman, we are heading towards wealth redistrubution. unfortunately i think it will get much worse.

I don't know, I think it's a nice gesture from the Feds to try and stimulate the economy but then again I think everybody's probabaly going to save the dough rather than spend it. That and it's just a quick fix to the bigger problems were in. Me, I have to pay off the CC debt. :x

I don't even understand that. How much is enough? Like "that's enough fun" or "I've had enough sex", "I make enough money.".
A reading from the Book of Armaments, Chapter 4, Verses 16 to 20:

Then did he raise on high the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch, saying, "Bless this, O Lord, that with it thou mayst blow thine enemies to tiny bits, in thy mercy."
