WTT MRE's for C-Rats
First off I would like to say "Hi people!" I am in need of 1 or 2 complete C-Rations meals (not cases); I have MRE's (individuals) and open meal bags of all their contents. I can take pictures of the meals and the accessories I have to offer, I just want to get a head start on my search

My favorite gun store is my house.
Prices are low, and service is impeccable. And the hours are incredible, they're always open when I show up.

MidNight_Rider442,
Hey, in regards to that comment on selling MRE's did you see another article or something about the FEDS cracking down on people hawking MRE's or what? I'd be curious to know if something else has come up or if the FEDS are sending people out there literally to force the "no sales" rule. Thanks

I seen something about a month ago where the Feds were watching the internet sites, yard sales and gunshows. and i seen on the net like 4 court cases where one was a guy who was selling them bought them from a yard sale on or near a Military installation, another one was a retired Military perosn selling what he bought at a gun show another was a Soldier who was selling cases on line and the Feds went all the waay to that soldiers NCOIC, and the NCOIC said that he told the Soldier he could have 1 case but the Sodlier took 7. I will see if i can find that story. I do not think that the Feds are going to every yard sale and gun show ( the Feds would spend so much time going from sale to sale, especially around Fort Hood). i had about a box of opened meals and needed to make soem room so i gave then to my hunting buddy. anyway, this is why i was looking for a C-Ration meal. took me about 2 weeks to build it.

MidNight_Rider442,
That sure is a pretty cool looking display you got there. Is it on public display?
As for this urban rumor going around that the Feds are going around and cracking down on people selling MRE's seems kind of ridiculous. I mean, the Feds would be spending a lot of time running down every person in this country trying to sell a case or meal. I think it's just a hit n miss kind of pattern we're seeing here. Not to mention trying to stop everybody on the 'Net selling them.
I can remember getting a message from some A**hole a couple of months ago on ebay telling me not to sell a case of MRE's that I was getting rid of becuase of the "no-sale" rule. I thought he's got some gall trying to tell me what to do. I don't remember the guys name but ignored it and sold the case anyway. I guess that guy would have qualified for a "a**hat" award.
That being said I think the Feds are wasting there time.

Hi,
that's not the way the Police works (almost ALL the polices on earth maybe). If you have a lot of people doing a "half-illegal" thing an illegal thing that everybody does, they don't loose their time running after every single citizen: they randomly choose one of two of them, send them the Court and there they get 10 years for having driven 1mph too fast, downloaded a movie, having owned a MRE crate or a gun with a barrel that's .001" too short
Of course all the papers an TV news are informed and speak about that and generally, as the rest of the infringers in the country is not a gang of heroes, the offence generally ceases pretty quickly
