What type of ground cover are you using?

the ground cover are general issue foam cover from
the norwegian army.
we use the al year around,white one side and grey greenish other side.

thats a us goretex uniform,and we dont use them in the
norwegian army.
the pictures are taken at home in our private woods not
on exersice

Great pics, norge! I had one of those corned beef hash MREs a few years ago - when it was only 12 or 13 years old. :-) But it was still perfectly good. And those milk caramels in the picture also looked like they were still good.
