neighboring town US army base Sightseeing

Post by katojapan » Mon Apr 07, 2008 10:52 am

4/4/2008
I went to the sakura (cherry blossom) festival at Camp Zama. :D
Michael Jackson came to Camp Zama last year.
This is the day when civilians are allowed to enter.
Last year I had to stand in line for four hours before I got into the base, but this year I didn't have to wait.

Everybody are going to be allowed to enter the premise of Army and Air Force Exchange Service.
Ordinary people cannot go in PX but you can have some fast foods at Anthony's Pizza,Burger King,
POPEYES or SUBWAY.
I had lunch at a bowling stadium because AAFES was crowded.

Wow those trees are amazing. Here in Texas we've got redbud trees that flower in spring, but they don't compare with those cherries.

That was a huge meal. Is the price in dollars? (And, "Bowling Burger"? That's hilarious.)

Because a tuna pack was sold how,

I have bought 4 for the neighborhood that bought Chee toss or a kit cut at a stand of AAFES

I was able to buy one tuna pack for 2 dollars 25 cents.
The US base was very pleasant,
