I like them ok - they tasted just like any other tortilla out there. I wasn't a big fan of the "Chicken Fajita" MRE because it was so messy to fix, but I could still see how having the tortillas in other meals would be good.

But that being said, I still like the wheat snack bread better. :-)

I voted for tortillas, but only because you don't have a third option listed: plain crackers.

Am I the only one that hates wheat snack bread? I find it gummy and musty tasting, with a sweetened chemical aftertaste.

I'm a purist with the crackers, too. No vegetable crackers, please, just plain. They go well with every meal. Just crumble those beauties up into the pouch and you've got a feast!

I'm a big fan of the crackers, not so much the bread.. but I haven't tried the tortillas yet so I'm not voting. I'll open a fajita next to see.

Okay, I ate the fajita today.. which is a stretch for the name.. more like chicken with bell pepper and maybe some onion in a goo. The tortillas were way better than the bread IMO, but I'm not a big MRE bread fan. I thought the tortillas with just the cheese spread on them were the best part, they were wasted with the "fajita" stuff on them; would have gone as well on a cracker. Then again, for me, tortillas and cheese is comfort food..

i agree with richard i would prefer the original crackers. they go good in any meal. when crumbled up and added to the entree actually it can make a rather small entree more filling. especially when it comes with the cheese that was what i always did in the field crumbled crackers and cheese in my entree. made for one happy marine. the tortillas are good. but i voted bread. i actually like the bread never by itself. but i like the crackers better.

Well guys I have to admit that I am a big fan of the bread. It is much more soft and pliable thatn the early 90's bread they had. It was almost like eating a piece of foam, IMHO. At least the bread nowadays looks something like a slice. As for the tortillas, They should have made them bigger to hold all the fajita goop in. Everytime I put some together I end up spilling more on me. :x If the manufacturers made them a little bigger and thicker I'm sure than would have solved the problem. Oh well
